A leading life science company is seeking a Regional Procurement Director based in Singapore. This position involves sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers across Europe, Singapore, and the Americas to minimize costs while ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in procurement, with strong leadership and project management skills. The Regional Procurement Director (Europe / Singapore / Americas) is responsible for all Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Supplier Contract Governance, and Indirect spending activities that occur in the Region. The primary objective of this position is to source, negotiate and manage suppliers in these regions, in a way that minimizes the Company’s overall costs. This position ensures alignment with all global material sourcing and procurement strategies to effectively meet Bio‑Rad’s operational needs. This position leads a team of procurement and purchasing professionals, responsible for indirect materials and services, including but not limited to, IT, Facilities, building and construction services, printing, janitorial services, Cap Ex equipment and direct materials (inventory items) in support of manufacturing sites in the region. Works in Partnership with Global Commodity Management on sourcing strategies for materials in support of manufacturing and OEM / Resale finished products in support of demand. Responsible for supplier development and supplier quality within the region in accordance with global policies and procedures.
