Job summary

PwC Singapore’s Digital Tax team is looking for an Associate to drive Tax technology strategy and solutions. You will work on system implementation, align business and IT requirements, and help automate tax processes across corporate tax areas using BI tools and dashboards.

You will collaborate with business users and developers, focusing on data quality, automation, and end-to-end tax technology delivery while applying knowledge of SAP/ERP integration and analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Corporate Tax background is preferable.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with willingness to adopt new tools/tech to solve problems.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle.
• Experience in tax technology solutions implementation or development.
• Knowledge of database systems (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with RPA software (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath).
• Knowledge of BI software (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Knowledge of ML algorithms with Python and R.

Responsibilities

• System implementation: gather requirements, write specs, work with business and developers.
• Bridge the gap between tech and business users by aligning requirements and BRDs.
• Embed Tax needs into IT systems to automate processes and improve data quality.
• Ensure usability and suitability of IT systems and solutions.
