The Opportunity
  • Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Equity Trading Platform Product Manager
  • Starts off as 1 year contract

Description

Responsibilities
1. Deep Market Understanding
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of equity trading products.
  • Keep abreast with current market trends to anticipate future client needs.
  • Ensure the platform empowers clients to capitalize on new opportunities.
2. Collaborative Leadership
  • Foster strong partnerships with Product Managers, Technology, Operations and various wealth business segments and countries.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to encourage creativity and efficiency.
3. Project Management
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Familiarity with Scrum & agile framework
4. Stake-Holder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate product updates, milestones and changes effectively to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
5. Driven and Results-Oriented
  • Demonstrate a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving product objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance and user experience.
6. Data-Driven Optimization
  • Analyse platform usage data, client feedback, and market trends to continuously refine the platform for optimal client performance.
7. Business Continuation
  • Support user live verification (User LV) for project release and platform maintenance purposes.
  • Contribute to solving matters related to production issues, especially if further platform enhancements are required.
  • Maintain back-office data configuration setup such as trading calendar.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with exposure to Trade Lifecycle, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of trading products and financial markets.
  • Proven track record in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

We are looking for someone who has experience in managing wealth management platform and has knowledge about equity trading.

Top 3 requirements : strong analytical skill (systematic thinking, familiar with system / technical flow, ability to analyse business requirement, etc), stakeholder management skill (managing stakeholder’s expectation, good communication skill, positive attitude, team player), and has experience in managing digital platform / app / system (familiar with agile / scrum framework, digital product life cycle, and platform development)
