Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our Digital Programme Centres as a Digital Procurement Executive. In this role, you will support the procurement of IT‑related goods and services that powers Singapore’s defence and security technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, quotation or tender evaluation, goods receipt, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Support contract administration, including handling export licence applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in a timely, compliant and cost‑effective manner.
  • Assist internal teams with their procurement activities and queries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and develop sourcing strategies that align with project timeline and budgets.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods, services, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and review procurement records to assess the effectiveness of work processes and procedures.
  • Support the use and adoption of e‑procurement systems and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of procurement, business, finance or supply chain operations will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in government or regulated procurement environments (e.g. export controls, compliance) is a plus.
  • Experience using government procurement platforms (e.g. GeBiz) and enterprise systems (e.g. SAP) will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
  • Detail‑oriented, organised and comfortable working with numbers and documentation.
  • A strong team player who can work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to support operational and administrative tasks as needed, and to collaborate with the larger administrative team on ad‑hoc assignments delegated by management.
