Held twice a year at the Suntec Convention Centre, the event showcases an unparalleled range of cutting‑edge smart solutions, innovative gadgets, and home furnishing technologies, inviting attendees to discover and build the "smart haven" of their dreams. The show attracts thousands of visitors and features leading brands in smart living, home automation, and consumer electronics.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing campaigns for the Smart Home Tech Show. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event marketing, digital strategy, public relations, and a passion for the smart home and consumer technology sectors. This role is crucial in driving visitor attendance, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting exhibitor success.

Key Responsibilities
I. Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi‑channel marketing strategy and budget to achieve aggressive visitor attendance targets and brand objectives for the show.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in smart home technology and event promotion.
  • Define target audience segments (e.g., homeowners, tech enthusiasts, industry professionals) and tailor messaging accordingly.
II. Digital Marketing & Content
  • Lead all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing (EDMs), and paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) to maximize ticket sales and pre‑registrations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and content strategy for the official event website (smarthometechshow.com.sg).
  • Manage content creation, including press releases, blog posts, video scripts, and marketing collateral highlighting key show features (e.g., Sure‑Win Draw, Smart Home Tour, exclusive Hossey Deals).
  • Analyze campaign performance data (KPIs, ROI) using Google Analytics and social media insights, providing actionable reports and continuously optimizing campaigns.
III. Public Relations & Media
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media partners (print, digital, and broadcast), including media featured partners like Channel 8, The Straits Times, Hardware Zone, etc.
  • Secure high‑impact press coverage, interviews, and features leading up to and during the event.
  • Manage the media registration process and on‑site media centre operations.
IV. Exhibitor & Partnership Marketing
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to develop marketing toolkits and opportunities for participating brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Daikin, Philips, Aqara).
  • Work with strategic partners and sponsors on co‑branded marketing initiatives and cross‑promotions to expand reach.
  • Manage the execution of key show highlights like the Smart Home Tour and Trade‑In Programme from a marketing perspective.
V. Operational Management
  • Oversee the design and production of all marketing materials, including the Digital Brochure, on‑site signage, and print advertisements.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, media buyers, and printing vendors.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with proven experience in event marketing, consumer exhibitions, or trade shows.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing end‑to‑end digital marketing campaigns (PPC, Social Media Ads, SEO, Email Marketing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Mandarin/other local languages is a plus, given the Singapore market).
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights platforms).
  • Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
