Job summary

The National Library Board (NLB) in Singapore is offering a Digital Content & Marketing internship under NLB Academy. You will contribute to EDMs, the training catalogue, and event documentation, while maintaining brand consistency across collateral.

Ideal candidates show a keen eye for design, enjoy photography/videography, and can draft concise captions in English. This role requires commitment to a 9–12 month internship and can involve occasional after-hours event coverage.

Qualifications

• A good eye for detail and aesthetics
• Proficiency in basic design software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Comfort using a camera or smartphone for photography and videography, including basic editing
• Good written English; able to draft short, clear copy for EDMs and captions
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple small deliverables against deadlines
• Proactive, receptive attitude; willing to take feedback and iterate
• Able to commit to a 9-12-month internship term, including occasional event coverage outside standard office hours

Responsibilities

• Support EDM & catalogue production: design EDMs for programme announcements and update training catalogue visuals
• Support event and training documentation: photograph/film sessions; edit footage into clips and thumbnails; archive assets
• Support digital & internal content: assist with intranet updates and internal communications collateral; draft captions and EDM text
• Support brand consistency & quality: maintain visual/brand consistency across collateral; proofread and quality-check materials before release
