About the Traineeship

Are you a recent graduate eager to launch your career in the financial industry? We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our Graduate Industry Traineeship program. This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the banking sector, with opportunities in our Invest and Lending departments.

This is a 6 months traineeship program offered in partnership with Workforce Singapore's (WSG) Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) program. As a trainee, you will be immersed in real-world projects, mentored by experienced professionals, and gain invaluable industry insights.

What will you do
  • Collaborate with Product and Business Teams, as well as other key stakeholders, to support the establishment and prioritization of business requirements and acceptance criteria testing within digital Operations (digiOps). You\'ll help ensure a consistently positive customer experience while learning about operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams to understand how the digiOps roadmap aligns with the broader bank-wide product strategy. You\'ll assist in developing and maintaining a prioritized backlog of digiOps processes and functionalities to support seamless customer journeys within our Retail and MSME business segments.
  • Learn to leverage innovative technology to maximize digitalization and scalability for our Customer and Business Operations Portal. You\'ll support efforts to achieve customer journey automation targets, reduce unit processing time, and minimize manual involvement. You\'ll also help identify and develop features that empower customer self-service and enable automated processes, driving operational efficiencies while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • With guidance from our Data Science Team, you\'ll learn to leverage data analytics to investigate operational challenges and opportunities, extract actionable insights, and pinpoint areas for enhancing efficiency and mitigating risks. You\'ll contribute to establishing a continuous feedback mechanism and translating findings into informed process improvement strategies.
  • Support the building and maintenance of a system of regular cadences and rituals in the digiOps team to ensure engagement and alignment of key stakeholders, and their readiness for adoption of new processes and features.
Who We\'re Looking For
  • Recent Degree Graduate in 2024 or 2025 in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field, demonstrating a blend of business acumen, technological understanding, and process improvement skills.
  • Passionate about solving problems – possesses a relentless need for investigation and data exploration. Eager to use problem-solving skills to foresee obstacles and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • A keen interest in customer or business support, journey mapping, and process optimization.
  • Eagerness to learn about process optimization, AI, and automation in a bank, fintech, or startup environment.
