Job summary

A leading public healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced Radiographer to perform clinical duties in various imaging modalities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography and be AHPC registered, with 4-5 years of relevant experience. This position requires compassion and a focus on patient care, as well as the ability to manage rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in Mammography/Breast Imaging/Ultrasound/CT/MRI/Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Comfortable with 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical duties in general radiography and advanced imaging.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure equipment maintenance.
  • Provide training and guidance to radiographers.
  • Deliver prompt service to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical duties in general radiography and at least one advanced imaging modality, such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Breast Imaging, or Interventional Radiology.
  • Administer contrast media for radiological examinations when required.
  • Oversee daily operations within the assigned section, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Implement and adhere to quality assurance programs and initiate process improvements within the section.
  • Follow safe work practices, with attention to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to radiographers.
  • Deliver prompt and professional service to patients and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle patient complaints and queries effectively and professionally.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of examinations.
  • Plan, organise, and prioritise tasks to ensure timely and effective completion of responsibilities.
  • Support, motivate, and counsel team members to enhance their strengths and improve areas of development.
Key Requirements
  • Min. Diploma / Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or related healthcare fields and must be AHPC registered.
  • Min. 4 – 5 years experience in Mammography / Breast Imaging / Ultrasound / CT / MRI / Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Compassionate and good patient care oriented.
