Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Podiatry Assistant to screen for risk factors in the diabetic foot and determine risk levels at our West Singapore location. You will recognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor/podiatrist for management, and deliver education on foot care to patients and/or caregivers.

Documentation of screening results must be clear and actions aligned with infection control practices and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Min HMI cert in Therapy Assisting is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen for risk factors in the diabetic foot and determine the corresponding risk level.
• Recognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor/podiatrist for management.
• Deliver education on diabetic foot care to patients and/or caregivers.
• Provide clear documentation on the results of the diabetic foot screening.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, professional, departmental and organisational policies such as good infection control practices.
• Take part in activities that promote awareness of Podiatry.
