Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a DevOps environment. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and help design scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using tools like OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD.

Strong scripting (Java, Python) and hands-on Linux experience are required. Prior agile experience and knowledge of DevSecOps are advantageous for delivering reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1-year experience in system analysis, design and programming.
• Experience with infrastructure provision tools (Docker, Ansible, etc).
• Experience with cloud provisioning resources and Linux/Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team in DevOps environment.
• Guide CI/CD and continuous testing.
• Develop DevOps strategy and toolset for squads.
• Setup, deploy and maintain scalable, high-availability systems.
• Automate deployment and security hardening.
