Job summary

TROYTECH INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING PTE LTD is seeking an AWS/DevOps-focused professional to support build, deployment, and operation of cloud infrastructure. You will work with Terraform configurations to manage EC2, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure changes and adhere to ITSM change and release processes. 2–4 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Some hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator, Terraform Associate.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, deploy, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations for AWS infra.
• Manage Terraform state, modules, and variables to detect drift.
• Maintain and update GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Follow Git workflows: branching, merge requests, code reviews.
• Troubleshoot pipeline/deployment failures with senior engineers.
• Apply security best practices with least-privilege IAM and secure SG rules.
• Support IaC and pipeline security tools (tfsec, Checkov) and remediate findings.
• Adhere to change, release, and incident processes; communicate progress clearly.
• Maintain runbooks, Terraform docs, and pipeline guides for handover.

Job Summary

Supports the build, deployment, and operation of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Collaborates with senior engineers and delivery teams to deliver infrastructure changes reliably, securely, and in line with established processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, deploy, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations to manage AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups
• Manage Terraform state, modules, and variables to detect and remediate configuration drift for consistent infrastructure deployment
• Maintain and update GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure deployments and ensure pipeline reliability
• Follow Git workflows including branching, merge requests, and code reviews to maintain code quality and collaboration
• Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment failures, collaborating with senior engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Apply security best practices in infrastructure code, enforcing least-privilege IAM policies and secure Security Group rules
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and pipeline security scanning tools (e.g., tfsec, Checkov) and remediate identified security findings
• Adhere to change, release, and incident management processes while communicating issues and progress clearly to stakeholders
• Maintain runbooks, Terraform documentation, and pipeline guides to support operational handover and knowledge sharing

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or arelated field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure orDevOps roles
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Some hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or SysOpsAdministrator, HashiCorp Terraform Associate

Skills

• AWS Infrastructure & Terraform (primary): hands-on AWSexperience, with the ability to create, modify, deploy, and troubleshootTerraform configurations
• GitLab CI/CD & DevOps: able to understand and modifypipeline configurations, with familiarity in Git workflows, branches, and mergerequests
• Troubleshooting & Delivery: strong problem-solvingskills, takes ownership of assigned tasks, and communicates clearly with seniorengineers and delivery teams
