Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, seeks a DevSecOps engineer to manage OutSystems environments, deploy apps across stages, and drive CI/CD security integration. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with security stakeholders on risk assessments.

The role requires experience with LifeTime, service center, and cloud platforms, plus scripting and Git-based workflows in an agile government project context.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps engineering with exposure to OutSystems platform (O11 or OutSystems Developer Cloud) including LifeTime deployment and environment management.
• Passion for automation, standardisation and best practices.
• Good understanding of SDLC, CI and CD.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCC (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across platform and app stack traces.
• Experience with application performance monitoring and logging tools (OutSystems, Elastic, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps toolset like GitLab, JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence.
• Basic understanding of Government ICT&SS management policies (IM8), SSP requirements and observability concepts.
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working with product development teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage OutSystems environments, deployments and platform configuration (LifeTime, Service Center) across development, testing and production.
• Deploy applications from development to higher environments using LifeTime with planning, checks, approvals, verification and rollback.
• Configure and run CI/CD pipelines and release processes for the case management platform with versioning and rollback.
• Operate monitoring dashboards and alerts for performance, availability, errors and usage.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting and participate in on-call rotation; escalate complex issues.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and track remediation with application teams.
• Assist in security checks such as VA at application and platform level.
• Apply secure configuration profiles and support threat and risk assessments with stakeholders.
• Collect and maintain security/compliance evidence for ICT&SS/IM8 and SSP.
• Support performance/load tests, backup/restore, disaster recovery tests and licence reporting.
• Support promotion of agentic AI components through CI/CD pipelines.

What will you do?

• Manage OutSystems environments, deployments and platform configuration (e.g. LifeTime, Service Center) across development, testing and production
• Perform application deployments from development to higher environments (e.g. testing, UAT, staging and production) using OutSystems LifeTime, including deployment planning, dependency and impact checks, change approvals, pre- and post-deployment verification, and rollback when needed
• Configure and run the CI/CD pipelines and release process for applications hosted on the case management platform, including deployment plans, versioning and rollback, in coordination with relevant platform engineering stakeholders
• Operate platform and application monitoring dashboards and alerts for performance, availability, errors and usage, and elevate bottlenecks and anomalies
• Perform first-line troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains, take part in the on-call rotation, and elevate complex issues to the relevant technical leads or support teams
• Integrate security tooling into the CI/CD pipelines (e.g. code scanning, dependency scanning) and track remediation of finding with application teams
• Assist in security checks such as application and platform-level VA, and troubleshooting
• Apply secure configuration profiles and support threat and risk assessments with relevant technical and security stakeholders
• Collect and maintain security and compliance evidence for ICT&SS / IM8 and the System Security Plan (SSP), such as scan results, access reviews and change records
• Support performance and load tests, backup, restore and disaster recovery tests, and OutSystems licence utilisation reporting
• Support the promotion of agentic AI components (e.g. agent configurations, prompts, guardrail settings) through the CI/CD pipelines

What are we looking for?

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps engineering with exposure to OutSystems platform (O11 or OutSystems Developer Cloud), including LifeTime deployment and environment management
• Passion for automation, standardisation and best practices
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Skills in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell or Python
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCC (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues ranging from platform configuration to application stack traces
• Experience with application performance monitoring and logging tools (e.g. OutSystems monitoring, Elastic, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Awareness of application security testing tools (e.g. HP Fortify, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus IQ) and secure coding practices
• Basic knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps toolset like GitLab, JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence
• Basic understanding of Government ICT&SS management policies (IM8), SSP requirements and observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces)
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely with product development teams
• Strong on collaboration and communication including documentation
• OutSystems certifications
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and Linux, to work effectively with the infrastructure team
• Experience supporting government projects
