Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support infrastructure architecture, resource planning, system performance and overall infrastructure operating environment for on-premise infrastructure, cloud computing platforms, or both.
• Support new application system initiatives and drive development of infrastructure architecture, system integration, acceptance, performance management practice and performance testing.
• Run infrastructure services in public cloud environments to support application systems, working closely with Applications Service counterparts.
• Understand systems operations environment and drive Architecture Review and Governance Process to ensure smooth and sustained operations (including resiliency requirements).

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant working experience, with validated records of having utilised architect design capabilities in infrastructure management of Cloud workloads.
• Certification in a Cloud Technology platform (either in Architecture, DevOps or System Administration/SysOps track) preferred.
• Demonstrate either deep or broad (or both) level of technical expertise in Infrastructure Services, with appreciation in one or more areas of Infrastructure Management (e.g. Server, Networking, System Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Database Storage/Back-up), Cloud Computing (e.g. AWS, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda) and DevOps Engineering (E.g. Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Git) concepts.
• Experienced in Elastic Stack.
• Proactive and dedicated individual with good leadership and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Good interpersonal, oral and written skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence partners at different levels.

Preferred DevOps Practices:

• Enable faster software engineering, deployment and management through automation, focusing more on effectively automating the software development and launch process.
• Possess skills with a broad range of tools and combined years of expertise to deal with technologies beyond the cloud platform, demonstrating a significantly diverse skill set.
