Job summary

Elliott Moss Consulting seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a data lakehouse platform hosted on AWS GCC. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure-as-Code, and ensure compliance with government security and data protection requirements.

The role requires hands-on DevOps with AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container orchestration. Collaboration with security teams and data engineers is essential for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps Engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and governance.
• Proficient with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Strong GitLab CI/CD pipeline development experience.
• Hands-on with SonarQube, Fortify on Demand, and Nexus IQ.
• Experience with SHIP-HATS or similar government toolchains is desirable.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD security, automated testing, deployment and release.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and manage GitLab for source control and deployments.
• Implement code quality gates using SonarQube and security tooling.
• Manage vulnerability scanning and governance.
• Coordinate with security and compliance activities including VAPT/PDPIA.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and other approved tools.
• Support containerisation and orchestration across the platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to deliver secure data platform.
