Job summary

ETHOS SEARCH ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer for a 1-year contract based in One North, Singapore. You will own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automate delivery processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation). You will improve speed, reliability, security posture and runbooks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert; AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional; Certified Kubernetes Administrator; HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
3 years of experience in: DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering or cloud operations, with significant CI/CD responsibility.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
Git, pull-request workflows and branching approaches (trunk-based development or GitFlow).
Docker and Kubernetes, (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and operational support).
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or cloud-native alternatives (Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation).
Scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Groovy.
Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Monitoring, logging and observability tools and practices.
Networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, routing, firewalls, VPNs, proxies and TLS certificates.
Identity, secrets and privileged-access management within CI/CD and cloud environments.
DevSecOps controls, vulnerability management and compliance automation.

Responsibilities

End-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent platforms.
Automate build, test, security scanning, release and deployment processes to improve speed.
Develop and maintain reusable pipeline templates and deployment standards across teams.
Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE or on-prem).
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation).
Assist cloud management on Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Ensure observability via metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog or Azure Monitor.
Implement DevSecOps controls (SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, secrets management, policy checks).
Maintain source-code repositories, branching strategies, release processes and environment promotion controls.
Automate configuration and tasks with Bash, PowerShell, Python or Ansible.
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
Produce technical documentation, platform standards, runbooks and disaster-recovery procedures.
Pursue perpetual improvement in delivery performance, platform resilience and developer experience.
