Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a senior DevOps engineer to optimize CI/CD pipelines and container platforms. You will implement Groovy scripts, YAML pipelines, and automation within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments while integrating Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket workflows.

Key focus areas include DAST with HCL AppScan, Elasticsearch/Kibana for observability, and robust patching/maintenance of CI/CD toolchains. Strong RCA skills and Unix/Linux scripting are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on DevOps pipeline development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Groovy scripts and YAML-based pipelines.
• Proficient with Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Knowledge of HCL AppScan DAST toolchains.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and XRay.
• Ability to debug issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Unix/Linux shell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience patching and managing CI/CD toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
• Operate container platforms with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Administer DAST tooling with HCL AppScan.
• Operate Elasticsearch, Kibana dashboards and index management.
• Develop and maintain Groovy scripts in Jenkins pipelines.
• Perform RCA and resolve pipeline issues.
• Write Python scripts to automate DevOps processes.
• Assist with OS and DevOps patching activities.
• Collaborate with vendors for tool upgrades and maintenance.
• Develop server-side automation scripts using Unix/Linux shell.
