Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Singapore-based client focused on engineering and technology solutions. The role collaborates with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure services through DevOps and GitOps practices.

You will manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, implement IaC, monitor systems, and maintain security and compliance across platforms while driving incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes administration and deployments.
• Experience with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
• Containerization experience with Docker and OCI containers.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience managing artifact repositories like Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
• Strong platform security, secrets management, vulnerability management.
• Linux-based environment administration.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support platform services leveraging GitOps principles and best practices.
• Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline application and infrastructure deployments.
• Develop automation solutions using scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Monitor platform performance, investigate system issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure service reliability.
• Partner with development teams to optimize software delivery, deployment, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Administer and support containerized applications and orchestration platforms.

Profile

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, configuration, and application deployments.
• Exposure to GitOps methodologies and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience working with containerization technologies, including Docker and OCI-compliant containers.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions, including Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and related technologies.
• Experience managing artifact repositories such as Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
• Good understanding of platform security, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
• Strong experience supporting and administering Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other modern software development methodologies.
