Qualifications

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced technology team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust DevOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and automation tools that support our cross-border payments platform.


Your work will directly contribute to product reliability, scalability, and faster delivery cycles. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic startup environments and is passionate about improving engineering efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain cloud/on-prem infrastructure, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and servers (Linux/Windows)

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket), automate deployments and support development teams

  • Administer Oracle and PostgreSQL databases including backups, performance tuning, replication, and version upgrades

  • Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, user provisioning, and integrations (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)

  • Ensure system security and compliance (SSL, encryption, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR) with incident response capability

  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), manage logs, and lead root cause analysis

  • Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell), manage configuration with Ansible/Chef/Puppet

  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, disaster recovery plans


Key Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, System Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering

  • Proficient in cloud platforms, IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages

  • Strong understanding of networking, databases, system security, and monitoring tools

  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Ability to respond to critical incidents 24/7 with a strong sense of ownership

  • Organized, documentation-driven, and committed to continuous improvement
