Job summary

Newtone Services is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to design, implement, and manage containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes or OpenShift. You will build CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning, migrate VM-based apps to containers, and collaborate with development teams to improve reliability.

Strong scripting, IaC, and monitoring skills are essential to optimize performance and drive DevOps best practices within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infra engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on with Kubernetes and OpenShift in production.
• Experience migrating apps from VMs to containers (planning & execution).
• Proficiency in pipeline creation, release management, and automation.
• Experience writing Kubernetes manifests (YAML) for deployments/services/configs.
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
