DevOps CI/CD Engineer for Enterprise Banking

Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our enterprise workflow team. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate build/test/deploy processes, and manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

You will collaborate with development, operations and QA to drive automation, observability and secure coding practices while applying Agile and DevOps principles in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Groovy).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Familiarity with security, vulnerability assessments, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance and maintain Java-based enterprise workflow applications.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Integrate IaC solutions for provisioning and managing resources.
• Configure SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, and DNS for DevOps toolset.
• Manage cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure.
• Monitor uptime, performance, and security; respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Document processes, tools, and configurations; advocate for best practices.
