Job summary

DNA AI TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a production support and DevOps professional to ensure high availability of mission-critical enterprise apps. You will monitor health, perform RCA/CAPA, and support file transfers and batch schedulers.

Your role includes building CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, plus cloud deployment using AWS/GCP. Strong scripting and collaboration with ops teams are required.

Qualifications

• Production Support & OS: L2 Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server admin; Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.
• CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, Terraform (IaC), Ansible/Playbooks.
• Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes deployment and cluster admin.
• Work Schedulers & Middleware: Control-M or TWS/Autosys; IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Database Knowledge: Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Ticketing & Collaboration: ServiceNow and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for mission-critical apps; meet SLA/KPI targets.
• Monitor app health, performance, and infra stability; runbooks and SOPs maintained.
• Execute RCA and implement CAPA; participate in change management and incident responses.
• Support file transfers, batch schedulers, and messaging queues; on-call during outages.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines; IaC provisioning with Terraform.
• Manage Docker/Kubernetes for cloud-native delivery; use ArgoCD/Helm for deployments.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Support & Operational Excellence (L2)

• Provide robust L2 production support for mission-critical enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and operational standards.

• Monitor application health, system performance, and infrastructure stability using enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., OMI, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Monitoring-as-Code).

• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex operational incidents and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Support enterprise file transfers (CFT), batch job schedulers (BMC Control-M, Autosys, TWS), and messaging queues (IBM WebSphere MQ).

• Maintain comprehensive runbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational knowledge bases.

• Participate in change management, release planning, and incident response, including after-hours/on-call rotational support during critical outages or scheduled maintenance.

2. DevOps, CI/CD & Deployment Automation

• Manage and optimize CI/CD automation pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Cucumber to ensure seamless application releases.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Terraform scripts for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning and cloud resource lifecycle management.

• Write, refine, and execute Ansible Playbooks for configuration management, automated patch deployment, server provisioning, and routine operational task automation.

• Execute database deployment automation using tools such as Flyway and Liquibase, alongside orchestrators like Rundeck.

3. Containerization & Cloud Orchestration

• Administer and support Docker containers, including container image creation, optimization, security scanning, and deployment.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, scaling, high availability, and deployment management.

• Utilize packaging and continuous deployment tools such as ArgoCD and Helm for cloud-native application delivery across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

4. Environment & Database Maintenance

• Administer Unix/Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server environments supporting Java/J2EE applications (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS).

• Support Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) including Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

• Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams on DNS, firewall, and routing configurations.

Technical Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Production Support & OS: L2-level Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server administration, alongside strong Shell, Python, or Perl scripting skills.

• CI/CD & Automation: Proven expertise in Jenkins, Terraform (IaC), and Ansible / Ansible Playbooks.

• Containerization: Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployment and cluster administration.

• Work Schedulers & Middleware: Knowledge of BMC Control‑M (or TWS/Autosys) and messaging systems like IBM WebSphere MQ.

• Database Knowledge: Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, PostgreSQL).

• Ticketing & Collaboration: Hands‑on working experience with ServiceNow and JIRA.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• DevOps Ecosystem: Familiarity with Maven, Git, Cucumber, RunDeck, Flyway, and Liquibase.

• Cloud & Cloud Native: Practical exposure to AWS or GCP, as well as ArgoCD and Helm.

• Observability: Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, and Monitoring‑as‑Code (MAC).

• Security & Practices: Exposure to DevSecOps practices and network architecture principles (DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
