Designer/Senior Designer, Regional Marketing

The Senior Designer is a key creative role responsible for the conceptualisation, design, and execution of all marketing assets for the Motor Image network. As a Senior Designer, you will act as a central creative hub, supporting all markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Taiwan) by developing original creative, adapting regional campaigns, and video content. You will be a critical in ensuring all materials are visually compelling, effective, and strictly adhere to Subaru's brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

A. Creative Development & Campaign Execution

Conceptualisation: Lead the conceptualisation and design of key visuals (KVs) and creative concepts for regional marketing campaigns, new model launches, and tactical promotions.

Social & Digital: Design and produce a high volume of digital assets, including:

  • Social Media: Static posts, carousels, animated GIFs, and stories for Instagram, Facebook, etc.
  • Digital Campaigns: Web banners (static and HTML5), eDM (Email) templates, and assets for lead‑generation campaigns.

Print & Collateral: Design and layout all printed materials, including:

  • Brochures: New model brochures, specification sheets, and sales toolkits.
  • Print Ads: Magazine, newspaper, and tactical print advertisements.

OOH & Events: Develop large‑format artwork for:

  • Out‑of‑Home (OOH): Billboards, digital display screens, and transport (bus/MRT) ads.
  • Retail & Events: Showroom displays, roadshow backdrops, standees, and all event‑related branding.

B. Regional Adaptation & Local Market Support

Localisation & Adaptation: Serve as creative support for all markets. Adapt and resize master artworks to fit various local media buys, including translated text layouts (for languages like Vietnamese, Thai, and Traditional Chinese) while maintaining design integrity.

C. Video Production & Motion Graphics

Video Editing: Edit and produce video content for social media and digital use, including adapting global/regional TV commercials into various formats (16:9, 1:1, 9:16).

Content Creation: Create compelling short‑form videos, such as product feature highlights, event montages, and promotional clips.

Motion Graphics: Apply basic motion graphics, including text overlays, lower thirds, simple animations, and transitions, to enhance video content using templates in Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.

You will be directly responsible for the hands‑on creation of:

  • Social Media: Daily content, campaign visuals, animated posts.
  • Digital: Full sets of Google Display Network (GDN) banners, website banners, eDMs.
  • Print: All model brochures, price lists, spec sheets, and print ads.
  • OOH: All billboard and large‑format advertising artwork.
  • Events: All roadshow and showroom branding (e.g., backdrops, pull‑up banners, vehicle display stands).
  • Video: Short‑form social videos, adapted TVCs, and simple animated product features.
Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

  • Designer: 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Senior Designer: 5-7+ years of experience, with a portfolio demonstrating campaign leadership and conceptual work.

Portfolio: A strong and versatile portfolio is mandatory. It must showcase proficiency across all requested areas: digital/social campaigns, high‑quality print layout (e.g., brochures), large‑format OOH, and video/motion graphics.

Technical Skills (Expert Level): Adobe Photoshop (raster graphics, compositing) and Adobe Illustrator (vector graphics, logo handling, layout).

Technical Skills (Proficient Level): Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics).

Speed & Accuracy: Ability to work efficiently and manage a high volume of assets and adaptations without sacrificing quality.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design, layout, and typography, especially when handling multiple languages and technical specifications.

Regional Mindset: Experience working in a fast‑paced, multi‑market environment.

Communication: Strong ability to understand and interpret marketing briefs.
