Job summary

You will advise clients on strategies, manage docketing, and assist management on various projects. Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry / Computer Science / Life Sciences / Biology / LLB.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with strong interest in the legal field are welcome.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Filing and prosecution of design matters.
• Coordination and supervision of the filing and prosecution of Malaysia patent applications including the review of official reports.
• Calculating, docketing and monitoring deadlines.
• Advising clients on strategies and courses of actions available.
• Any other matters/projects that management may require assistance with.
