Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Design Lead in Civil Engineering. You will oversee the design team and ensure projects meet their objectives while complying with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering and 5-8 years of experience in Architectural, Structural, and M&E projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in Architectural, Structural & M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design team.
• Accountable to project stakeholders for project objectives.
• Coordinate with relevant parties on design and technical issues.
• Review constructability issues with the construction team.
• Ensure project compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and overseeing the design team
• Accountable to the project stakeholders for accomplishing the project objectives within constraints such as project scope, time, cost and quality of the project
• In charge of the review and submission of all drawings. To coordinate with authorities, agents, qualified persons and sub-contractors for issues pertaining to design & technical
• To review constructability issues with the construction team
• To ensure the project complies with regulations, which includes revising the project design as necessary to achieve client satisfaction
