Design Engineer (MEP / Civil / Pharmaceutical / Greenfield projects)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or Civil Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, planning, and implementing engineering solutions for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for MEP or civil engineering projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.

Review and approve engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and material submittals.

Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and pharmaceutical industry standards.

Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases.

Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and project scheduling.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design and construction processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience in MEP or civil design engineering, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom environments.

Knowledge of Singapore building codes, safety regulations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.

Familiarity with project management principles and construction practices.

Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or civil infrastructure design for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Knowledge of validation and qualification processes in pharma projects.
