Job summary

Simular is seeking a hands-on designer to shape end-to-end product surfaces for agent experiences. You’ll take concepts from idea to shipped interfaces, collaborating with engineers and researchers to ensure clarity, trust, and delight.

You’ll prototype in HTML/CSS/JS or React, use Figma for visuals, and contribute to a shared design system. Expect lightweight user testing, fast iterations, and a strong emphasis on craft, motion, and responsive states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Portfolio showing original thinking and design craft.
• Fluent in Figma; comfortable prototyping interactions and motion.
• Ability to build working prototypes with HTML/CSS/JS or React.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product surfaces for agent experiences.
• Explore interaction models for observing, guiding, and interrupting agents.
• Build working prototypes in code to test ideas early.
• Use AI tools to accelerate moving ideas to running demos.
• Run lightweight user testing and translate learnings into design decisions.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system for consistency across the product.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs survive implementation.
• Care about craft: spacing, motion, states, and visual details.
