Job summary

BBR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEMS PTE LTD is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to develop detailed design plans for construction projects. You will create, review, and modify designs for structures, roads, and bridges while collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver safe and innovative solutions.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering and at least 2 years in reinforced concrete design, with familiarity in RAPT/ADAPT software as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years working experience in Reinforced Concrete design.
• Well organized, independent, meticulous, team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design plans and specifications for construction projects.
• Create and modify designs for buildings, roads, bridges, or other construction projects.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Clients to produce safe, efficient designs.
• Use engineering software to produce construction drawings, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize designs.
• Provide technical support during construction to resolve design-related issues.

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for developing detailed design plans and specifications for construction projects.

• Create, review, and modify designs for building structures, roads, bridges, or other construction projects.
• Work closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Clients to create safe, efficient, and innovative designs.
• Usage of engineering software and technical knowledge to produce construction drawings, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize design solutions.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve any design-related issues.
• Prepare detailed documentation for approval, permits, and legal requirements.
• Ensure that all design work is clearly documented for future reference and as part of project reporting.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Reinforced Concrete design
• Well Organised, Independent, Meticulous, Team Player with initative
• Knowledge in RAPT/ADAPT Software is an advantage
