What you'll be doing
  • Oversee daily operations of the Welfare Home, ensuring residents’ safety, well-being, and proper care standards
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks, including MSF guidelines, PDPA, and hygiene standards
  • Supervise staff, manage duty rosters, and provide guidance, training, and performance appraisals to ensure service excellence
  • Monitor facility conditions, meal preparation, and service standards to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Manage administrative and statutory documentation, including residents’ records, financial accounts, and operational reports
  • Oversee financial governance, budgeting, and expenditure control in accordance with policies and service standards
  • Coordinate volunteer engagement and community involvement initiatives
  • Lead process improvement, crisis management, and business continuity plans to strengthen operations and service delivery
  • Work closely with the Welfare Homes Management Committee to plan and implement service enhancements and operational strategies
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related disciplines.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in residential care/ social services/ welfare home operations
  • Strong understanding of social service regulations, case management, and welfare home governance
  • Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, resilient, and able to work effectively with vulnerable populations
