Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Singapore is seeking an IT Development Manager with over 5 years of experience in IT systems within the securities industry. The role involves supporting regional IT management tasks, coordinating information security processes, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in STEM fields such as computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in IT system development, familiarity with securities company business preferred.
• Experience in overseas information system development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT manager in regional IT management-related tasks.
• Provide guidance on Galaxy's overseas IT systems.
• Develop IT plans for subsidiaries in line with parent company's strategy.
• Coordinate information security and IT controls of subsidiaries.
• Promote the use of Galaxy Overseas Information Technology.
• Coordinate project implementation with Galaxy Overseas and business departments.
• Regularly report on progress and matters to the parent company.
• Facilitate exchanges between headquarters and overseas technical personnel.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the IT manager in completing regional IT management‑related tasks, including but not limited to:
• Provide expert guidance on the selection and use of Galaxy's overseas IT systems.
• Assist in developing IT plans for subsidiaries to ensure alignment with the parent company's strategy and business objectives.
• Coordinate information security and IT internal control processes of subsidiaries to meet internal and external audit requirements.
• In line with business development needs and the parent company's technological advantages, gradually promote the use of Galaxy Overseas Information Technology to empower various tasks.
• Coordinate with Galaxy Overseas, the parent company's IT department, and business departments to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
• Report work progress and major matters related to the construction of Galaxy's overseas IT system to the parent company regularly / irregularly.
• Promote exchanges between headquarters and Galaxy's overseas technical personnel.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in STEM fields such as computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.
2. 5 or more years of experience in IT system development, familiar with securities company business, and experience in overseas information system development is preferred.
3. Possesses strong English skills and cross-cultural communication abilities, and is able to effectively collaborate with teams from different regions.
