Job summary

A government agency in Singapore is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to lead a team focusing on technical analysis of cyber threats for national defense. Qualifications

  • Education in Information Security, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of programming or scripting languages, operating system concepts and cyber security solutions.
  • Good stakeholder and vendor management skills.

  • Support MINDEF/SAF’s cyber defence mission.

Job description
What the role is:

You lead a team performing technical analysis of cyber threats that are of interest to MINDEF/SAF, as well as implementing solutions and generating intelligence reports of the overall cyber threat intelligence mission.

What you will be working on:
  • Oversee and manage the technical indicators workflows
  • Support MINDEF/SAF’s cyber defence mission
  • Support peacetime cyber operations as a subject matter expert
  • Respond to technical request for information in a timely fashion
  • Provide in-depth analysis of cyber threats
  • Train and develop the team members
Challenge(s)
  • Keeping up to date with development in digital technology and the methodologies of cyber threat actors
  • Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with partners both within and outside of the MINDEF/SAF cyber‑tech ecosystem
  • Developing deep domain knowledge and technical cyber skillsets
What we are looking for:
