Job description
What the role is:

You will provide leadership for the comprehensive facility management and maintenance of all MPA’s properties and leased facilities. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of our portfolio, while driving innovation through SmartFM digitalisation and decarbonisation and energy‑efficiency initiatives.

What you will be working on:
  • Strategic Leadership & Day-to-Day Operations

    You will provide leadership and supervision to the Space Management Department, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance. You will oversee all day-to-day facility operations and maintenance, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all MPA properties. You will also supervise appointed contractors (including security, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and general maintenance) to ensure strict adherence to service contracts and performance standards.

  • Smart FM & Digitalization

    You will drive the planning, adoption, and continuous improvement of a SmartFM (Smart Facility Management) strategy. You will leverage technology to enhance user experience, implement predictive maintenance, enable real-time monitoring, automate processes, and use data and analytics to optimise resource allocation and reduce energy consumption across the portfolio.

  • Sustainability & Green Mark Certification

    You will plan and oversee Green Mark certification and other energy‑efficiency initiatives for MPA’s existing buildings and assets. You will lead project teams to integrate new decarbonisation initiatives, including DC grids, solarisation of assets, and maintenance of solar and battery systems. You will also explore and implement opportunities for harvesting green and renewable energy to achieve higher energy efficiency and support sustainability goals.

  • Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement

    You will collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver facility improvement initiatives. You will review and refine outsourcing, procurement, and management strategies to ensure value and high service quality. You will also develop and oversee customer engagement and satisfaction programmes to enhance the experience of facility users.

What we are looking for:

Experience in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in facility management and maintenance. You should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a strong command of written and spoken English.
