Job description
What the role is

You will work in close partnership with other divisions within the National Environment Agency, government agencies and key partners to shape the Meteorological Service Singapore’s (MSS) strategic directions, oversee the administration of the business-related functions including contract and service agreement management, as well as procurement and administrative matters.

What you will be working on

The job scope will include but not limited to the following:

  • Drive processes for strategic development and ensure alignment with policies set by NEA HQ and the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment
  • Oversee MSS’ corporate planning process and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Supervise secretariat and administrative support for key meetings, research collaboration projects, as well as management of budget
  • Supervise requests, communication and coordination efforts between MSS, Ministries and agencies, including those involving NEA HQ
  • Oversee and manage the administration of financial and procurement functions
  • Manage the administration of service contracts with key customers and cost-recovery arrangements
  • Supervise a team of officers
What we are looking for

  • At least 10 - 12 years of relevant work experience, with 6 years spent in a team leadership position
