Job summary

A dental practice in Singapore is seeking a Dental Assistant to assist during treatments and maintain hygiene standards. Candidates should be motivated to provide exceptional care, possess excellent communication skills, and have a warm personality. Training is provided for suitable candidates with no experience. This role involves various responsibilities including patient care, scheduling, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dentist during dental treatments and procedures
  • Maintaining overall hygiene standard
  • Assist dentist to prep patients for X-ray
  • Disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Perform general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of treatment rooms
  • Maintain appropriate levels of dental supplies in clinic
  • Prepare materials, dental instruments, and equipment as required
  • Prepare cases to be sent out to third party Labs
  • Attend to incoming calls and provide customer service for patients at front desk
  • Admit and discharge patients
  • Provide post-operative care for patients after procedures
  • Schedule patient's appointments
  • Register and maintain patient's account by recording medical and personal information data
