Job summary

Align Dental Surgery in the Orchard Central region is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant cum Receptionist to join the team in a full-time capacity. The role combines hands-on clinical support with essential administrative duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will assist dentists, greet patients, manage appointments, handle inquiries, and maintain supplies while adhering to infection control protocols in a modern practice setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
• Proficient in using dental software and administrative tools.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during patient procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment.
• Greeting and welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records and files.
• Handling patient inquiries, answering phone calls, and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintaining inventory and ordering dental supplies as needed.
• Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic clinical setting.
• Providing administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and other general office duties.
