Responsibilities

1. Preparation of materials, dental instruments and equipments for chairside assisting
2. Assist Dentist efficiently during consultation and in general dental procedures
3. Be able to anticipate the needs of the Dentist during assisting
4. Be able to anticipate patient’s needs and care requirements
5. Disinfection and sterilisation of dental chair, room, instruments etc
6. Ensure high standard of infection control and safety policies are strictly adhered to
7. Explain to patients what their treatment entails alongside the Care Manager, if necessary
8. Other related duties include casting of models and handling of lab cases
9. Assist in patient scheduling, reception and cashiering duties
10. Ensure clinic is hygienic and clean
11. Any other duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Dental Assisting or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Training will be provided for those with lesser experience
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to use Plato is an advantage but not a requirement
• Able to work evening shift and weekends
