Job summary

OSOMPI PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Dental Nurse Assistant to support dentists during consultations, prep treatment rooms, and maintain infection control across a busy clinic.

You will also handle patient registration and scheduling as needed, ensuring a smooth, patient‑focused experience and a clean, organized environment. Prior dental assistant experience is welcome, with training offered to grow in the role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
  • Experience in oral surgery preparation and assisting is preferred but not compulsory.
  • Relevant dental assisting qualification is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Dental Nurse/Assistant is an advantage; candidates without experience but with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Able to work on Saturdays (9am - 1pm).

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during dental consultations and all type of procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after each procedure.
  • Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Assist in taking and processing dental radiographs (where applicable and with relevant certification).
  • Monitor and replenish dental supplies and assist with inventory management.
  • Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.
  • Support patient care by ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and other administrative duties when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the management to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
