Delivery Lead (6-Months Contract, Convertible to Permanent)

The role involves managing 10–12 technical specialists across four parallel workstreams and multiple vendors. You will interface directly with senior stakeholders and ensure all delivery components meet required compliance standards.

The Role

You will serve as the Delivery Lead with full accountability for the successful delivery of a complex, multi-workstream cloud migration and modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across four concurrent technical workstreams
• Lead and manage a team of Technical Leads, Cloud Engineers, DevOps Engineers, QA, Data Engineers, and Security Specialists
• Serve as the primary stakeholder interface for project updates and decision-making
• Drive a hybrid delivery approach combining traditional planning with Agile sprints
• Oversee project risks, issues, dependencies, and overall budget
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security assessments (VA/PT), and audit readiness
• Coordinate UAT activities and manage acceptance processes
• Lead transition planning from development to Operations & Maintenance
• Manage coordination and alignment across multiple vendors
• Establish and maintain a strong project governance framework including steering committees, decision logs, escalation paths, and reporting mechanisms
• Provide regular governance reporting and stakeholder updates

Must-Have Experience

• 10+ years of experience in technology project management
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical delivery teams
• Strong experience with Agile/hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven capability in managing senior stakeholder relationships
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security compliance frameworks
• Excellent risk, issue management, and reporting skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience in public-sector or regulated-sector projects
• Cloud migration/modernization experience (AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security assessment processes
• PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications
• Experience managing projects involving multiple external vendors or partners
• Exposure to GenAI implementation within the SDLC
• Hands‑on experience establishing governance structures and tooling

Technical Context (High‑Level Understanding Required)

• Secure cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, regulated cloud environments)
• Compliance and security requirements
• CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• System integration and data migration
