Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Delivery Assistant to ensure timely and safe delivery of IT products. Responsibilities include loading and unloading items, maintaining delivery vehicles, and following delivery routes. Candidates should preferably have a driving license and be comfortable with logistics tasks. Training is provided for operating equipment. This role offers a 5-day work week with a salary between S$1,800 and S$2,200.

Qualifications

• A Driving license is preferred.
• Required to successfully pass a standard security clearance.
• Training provided if necessary for using pallet-jack.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading fragile IT products.
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
• Communicate with customers upon arrival.
• Ensure all Delivery Orders are signed by the customer.
• Operate a pallet-jack to move goods.

Delivery Assistant | 5-Day Work Week | Essential Logistics Role

Join our IT company's logistics team in an important role ensuring our products reach our clients safely and on time.

Working Hours & Salary

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Location: Shun Li Industrial Park (Kaki Bukit).
• Salary: S$1,800 – S$2,200 / Month.
• Overtime (OT): OT will be paid for work performed outside of normal working hours or on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading fragile IT products (e.g., laptops, printers, server racks) and ensure their safe delivery to customers.
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently to ensure all goods are delivered on time.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
• Communicate with customers by calling them upon arrival at their location to notify them.
• Ensure all Delivery Orders (D.O.) are accurately signed by the customer.
• Operate a pallet-jack/pallet-drive to move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform other logistics and operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A Driving license is preferred.
• Required to successfully pass a standard security clearance (no criminal record required for this clearance).
• Comfortable with loading/unloading of IT products.
• Able to use a pallet-drive/pallet-jack (training provided if necessary).
• Responsible, punctual, and possesses a strong service attitude.
