A leading electronics company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test procedures for electronic circuit board production. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include analyzing test data, supporting manufacturing with failures, and generating reports. This is an on-site position requiring physical adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Under limited supervision designs, develops and maintains test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production.
Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from four‑year college or university preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The employee is frequently required to walk, and to lift and carry PCs and test equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of time.

Individual’s primary workstation is located in the office area, with some time spent each day on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in this environment ranges from low to moderate.
