Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates established in Indonesia and has business presence worldwide. The role of the Deals Desk Trader will be based out of its Singapore office in the CBD area.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades based on instruction from Head of Deals Desk and Trading Desk
• Execute trades for Physical material of Precious Metals
• Prepare necessary documentation relating to the trades by liaising with Operations Division
• Responsible to prepare all the facility needed to trade for derivatives by helping Head of Deals Desk
• Maximize profits for company with speculative position
• Keeping close communication with counter parties and follow up on any requests/ troubleshooting issues pertaining to the transaction.
• Liaise with Risks Management BU to ensure all trades are recognized accurately in the systems against Traders and Broker’s Trade Recap/ Statements.
• Check the Forward Curve in multiple markets and liaise with CEO to take speculative position to maximize the profit.
• Prepare Option Modeling to get accurate mark to market and report to Risk Management team.
• Liaise with Finance team for Structured Finance Trade of Precious Metals.
• Liaise with Operations team to prepare documents (Invoices, Shipment/ Payment Documents etc.)
• Keeping up to date with latest world news and provide insights on Micro/Macro.

Requirements

• Essential skills include Option Modeling, Trading in multiple Forward-Curve.
• Good knowledge of Financial Terms, Micro/Macro economics, Options, Positioning in Financial Markets
• Understanding of logistics i.e. Incoterms, UCP600
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Singaporeans only
