Job Description
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client orders, vendor data, allocations, and transactions in internal databases and systems for trading operations and regulatory purposes.
  • Provide administrative support for the department, including document preparation, photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the trading desk by preparing reports, coordinating back‑office functions, managing data and statistical entries, reconciling trades across different markets, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate trade bookkeeping, data entry, and correspondence management, and liaise with dealers and internal stakeholders to reconcile trade discrepancies.
  • Monitor trades where necessary and elevate issues when required.
  • Provide timely support to dealers by verifying and cross‑checking records for errors or inconsistencies and resolving operational and trade issues via phone and email.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in a Finance‑related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage records in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of equity capital markets and trading operations is a plus. Proficiency in Excel and Macros will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in data entry and verification, as well as maintaining databases.
