The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for team and manage incidents, problems, and changes
• Lead fault investigation, resolution, and request handling
• Ensure compliance with standards and maintain documentation
• Drive automation and continuous improvement
• Participate in infrastructure events and on‑call support
• Support Asia and EMEA time zones with rotating shifts (e.g., 7am–4pm, 2pm–11pm, 4pm–1am)

Requirements

Functional

• 6–8 years of PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA experience
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in production operations and IT security
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills

Technical

• Hands‑on experience with database configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of HA/DR solutions and scripting (Python, T‑SQL, Shell)
• Experience with database security and performance tuning
• Certifications in PostgreSQL/Sybase and cloud technologies preferred
