Job summary

Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Systems Engineering team in Singapore. You will enhance and optimize data flow between systems and refine pipeline architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable data products.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years hands-on experience with Python or Java, SQL and NoSQL databases, and ETL tools like NiFi or Airflow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, or other OO languages.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
• Experience with ETL tools like NiFi or Airflow.
• Familiarity with microservices and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements, including automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, and design of scalable infrastructure.
• Gather and analyze telemetry data to provide actionable insights, enhancing the efficiency of data systems and key business performance metrics.
