Key Responsibilities
- Act as the last level of technical escalation for the Data Security Services team.
- Own and manage incident, problem, and change management processes for the team.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of endpoint and data security technologies.
- Design, deploy, and validate security solutions, including Symantec DLP, Endpoint Protection, Email/Web Prevent, and database auditing tools.
- Participate in security projects, POCs, technical upgrades, migrations, and End-of-Life transitions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on automation and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to integrate security services and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
- Investigate data leak incidents using forensic tools, provide root cause analysis, and report findings.
- Ensure documentation, governance, and risk assessment processes are accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive.
- Mentor and guide team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and support recruitment and technical onboarding.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 8‑10 years of IT security experience in endpoint and data security, with hands‑on experience administering solutions such as Symantec DLP, Endpoint Protection, and data classification tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- Strong understanding of IT security domains, risk‑based approaches, and enterprise security policies.
- Proven experience in production (Run/Operations) environments for large‑scale enterprise setups, preferably in financial services.
- Expertise in Symantec DLP administration, including policy/rule creation, deployment, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of email, web, and database security solutions, including MS Defender, Guardium, and IMPERVA.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or regular expressions is desirable.
- Strong ITIL knowledge and experience in process‑oriented operational environments.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or Symantec Certified Expert (DLP) are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills, with ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure.
