Job summary

Xiaomi Technology in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to build and govern multi-dimensional metrics, dashboards, and reports covering daily data needs. You will translate business problems into analytical frameworks and drive end-to-end analyses from definition to actionable recommendations.

You will collaborate with product and operations teams to quantify user behavior, support growth initiatives, and evaluate feature impact using rigorous quantitative analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years experience as Senior Data Analyst or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Quick BI.
• Experience handling large datasets and producing end-to-end analyses.
• Strong communication and ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts as needed.

Job description

• Build multi-dimensional business metrics (user, traffic, conversion, revenue), define North Star metrics, and deliver dashboards/reports covering 90% of daily data needs.
• Monitor core data daily, conduct anomaly analysis, and establish intelligent monitoring frameworks to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Support strategy design for user acquisition and engagement by quantifying user behaviors and identifying key growth opportunities.
• Optimize app features and traffic funnels through A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to enhance overall user lifetime value (LTV).
• Lead the design and standardization of the business metrics system, ensuring consistency and alignment of KPIs across product lines and markets.
• Translate complex business problems into structured analytical frameworks; independently drive end-to-end analysis projects from problem definition to actionable recommendations.
• Partner with product and operations teams to evaluate the impact of new features, campaigns, and market strategies through rigorous quantitative analysis.
• Develop and maintain self-serve analytics tools and data products that empower business teams to access insights independently.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, conduct code/analysis reviews, and promote best practices in data analysis methodology across the team.
• Proactively identify data gaps and opportunities, drive improvements in data collection, instrumentation, and overall data infrastructure quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience, as a Senior Data Analyst or similar capacity.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases such as SQL, Python, Power BI ,Quick BI, etc.
• Strong knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner to non-technical stakeholders.
