Job summary

OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced data science leader to design scalable data pipelines and backend services for ingestion and processing in Singapore. You will lead production ML initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes deploying ML models, validating AI use cases, and documenting technical decisions. Prior experience with Databricks and AWS, IoT protocols, and industrial data is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in data science with production-scale ML delivery.
• Hands-on ML model development, deployment, and data‑engineering collaboration.
• Experience with Databricks and AWS cloud environments.
• Proven leadership of data science initiatives for large-scale platforms.
• Knowledge of IoT and industrial messaging protocols (MQTT, AMQP, OPC-UA).
• Experience with robotics or industrial data processing is an advantage.
• Exposure to GenAI, LLM, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data pipelines is preferred.
