Job summary

STRIPE PAYMENTS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a data scientist to partner with Global Growth teams.

You will design and ship experiments, identify opportunities across stripe.com and dashboards, and help optimize the self-serve onboarding funnel for users worldwide using ML, statistics, and causal inference. The role requires strong SQL and Python or R skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's + 8 years data science or Master's + 6 years or PhD + 3 years in data science/quantitative modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and delivering results.
• Clear communication and impact-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate analyses into recommendations.
• Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate model development and coding.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship experiments and identify improvement opportunities across stripe.com and the dashboard.
• Help understand, grow, and optimize the self-serve user funnel for global onboarding.
• Apply machine learning, statistics, causal inference, optimization, and analytics to business decisions.
• Collaborate with Global Growth teams to drive impact and inform product strategy.
