Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Data Science Engineer in Singapore to uncover patterns in large datasets and develop predictive models and automated processes.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and UX teams to address business questions and improve tools used across product and services. The role requires strong programming skills (Python/Java/SQL), experience with cloud, APIs, ETL, and knowledge of discrete event simulation or optimization modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor industry or digital twin is a plus.
• Strong programming and modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured big data sources.
• Interact with product and service teams to identify questions for data analysis.
• Develop and code software to cleanse and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Identify meaningful insights from data and metadata sources.
• Communicate insights to product, service, and business managers.
• Explore new ideas to enable breakthrough solutions at Micron.
• Collaborate across management, departments, and sites to optimize production metrics.
