Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a Data Scientist based in Singapore to leverage data, ML, and analytics to optimize global enterprise operations and drive innovation. You will translate complex requirements into scalable data models and production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 3+ years in data science, analytics, or ML with cross-functional impact.
• Strong Python or R and advanced SQL for modeling and data manipulation.
• Experience deploying cloud-based data solutions on AWS or GCP.
• Visualisation tools and telemetry knowledge are preferred.

As a Data Scientist based in Singapore, you will leverage data, machine learning, and advanced analytics to optimize global enterprise operations and drive innovation across our technical ecosystem. You will translate complex functional requirements into scalable, high-impact data models and production-ready solutions.

• Model Development & Deployment: Design, validate, and deploy end-to-end predictive models and statistical algorithms to support global operations and digital workplace initiatives.
• Data Integration & Analytics: Extract, clean, and analyze complex datasets across cloud and enterprise systems to identify efficiency improvements and actionable insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global IT, engineering, and product teams to integrate analytical solutions into core infrastructure and business processes.
• Quality & Governance: Ensure data models and pipelines comply with technical architecture standards, cyber security, and global compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Continuous Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities to integrate emerging AI/ML tools, frameworks, and cloud capabilities into our tech stack.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of technical experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, with a proven track record of driving results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R, alongside advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and predictive modeling.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-based data solutions on AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and telemetry/network tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ThousandEyes).
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities and strong business communication skills.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or prior experience analyzing large-scale infrastructure and operational data are advantageous.
