Job summary

SAP SE is seeking a Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Singapore. You will help deliver end-to-end AI solutions for customer support use cases, from requirements through production deployment.

You will work with data engineers, ML engineers, and software developers to build scalable AI services and pipelines. The role emphasizes hands-on data science, model development, evaluation, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning or applied AI.
• Bachelor's or higher in Data Science, AI or equivalent.
• Strong Python and data science skills: data analysis, feature engineering, model development, evaluation and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements for AI/data science in the Support Delivery domain.
• Develop AI-powered services for customer support use cases (case analysis, knowledge retrieval, recommendations, classification, automation).
• Deploy models and algorithms from experimentation to production with ML engineers and developers.
• Design data and ML pipelines and microservices as needed.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to improve model performance and derive insights.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience to join our team and help deliver end-to-end AI solutions for customer support use cases.

What You’ll Do

• Understand business and technical requirements for AI and data science solutions in the Support Delivery domain.
• Work on AI-powered services and applications that support customer support use cases such as case analysis, knowledge retrieval, recommendations, classification, and automation.
• Take models and algorithms from experimentation to production in collaboration with machine learning engineers and developers.
• Design and implement data pipelines, model pipelines, and ML microservices where required.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, improve model performance, and generate actionable insights.
• Apply modern AI techniques including LLMs, embeddings, RAG, semantic search, knowledge graphs, and agentic workflows where relevant.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, machine learning engineers, software developers, and product stakeholders to deliver production‑ready AI solutions.
• Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions

What you'll bring

• Hands‑on Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience in machine learning or applied AI
• A relevant university degree from Data Science, AI or equivalent
• Strong Python and practical data science skills, including data analysis, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and experimentation with structured or unstructured data.
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud‑native tools, production readiness, and technologies such as Spark or Elasticsearch is valuable.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, curiosity, and the ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams are essential.
